2st Congress of Polish Joinery

The Polish joinery sector has been developing very dynamically during the past decade. Currently, Poland is one of the largest European exporters of windows and doors, and the Ministry of Economy acclaimed our sector as “Polish export specialty”. In order to uphold this dynamics, the Polish Windows and Doors Association, the only significant organization of this sector in Poland, is organizing the 2nd Polish Joinery Congress with DOORS and GATES as the leading theme. The Congress shall be held on 7-8 April 2011, in Falenty near Warsaw, under the honorary auspices of the Minister of Infrastructure.

The 1st Congress (WINDOWS and FACADES) was held in February 2010, under the patronage of Prime Minister Waldermar Pawlak. The participants included almost two hundred presidents of the largest Polish producers of windows and facades.

We have invited the Building Research Institute (ITB) from Warsaw, IFT Rosenheim, the General Office of Building Control, the Polish Standardization Committee, the Polish Chamber of Commerce as well as outstanding economists and analysts to cooperate on the drafting of the program and content of the Congress. They shall share their knowledge on selected issues and will also attempt to draw a vision of the near and farther future of the joinery sector.
